Career Center

Career Counseling is an organized approach to career and life decision making. It allows you to make decisions about the classes you take, specifically your elective classes, the extra-curricular activities you pursue, and the grades you decide to make in high school based on your career goals.  The career planning process involves gathering information along with real world experiences so you can make realistic decisions about your future based on facts and self knowledge rather than feelings and suggestions of others.  You need to allow yourself plenty of time to explore and learn about all your options after high school and which option(s) are best for you. It's never too early to start planning ahead!!!

This site will be updated periodically to list upcoming programs that the Career Center will be sponsoring to assist you in your FHS Career Exploration and Planning Process. The Career Center is open before school, during lunch, and after school by appointment. All students, their families, teachers, counselors, administrators, and members of the community are welcome here.

Use the Career Center to work on college, technical school, job, financial aid, or scholarship searches and applications. Your professional school counselors and a career counselor are  here to assist you every step of the way especially if you are undecided about what path to choose after high school or feel your career goals are unattainable.
